Both players and spectators find tournament play is an excellent way to enjoy the game of lawn bowls. Milwaukee Lawn Bowling hosts tournaments on our greens in Lake Park many weekends throughout our season. Members are welcome to participate and all are invited to watch. Many of our members also take advantage of the opportunities to bowl in tournaments at the Divisional and National levels.
Club Tournaments- Organized by Milwaukee Lawn Bowling and played on our greens in Lake Park. Member advance registration and entry fees are required to participate.
- Central Division Open. Must hold membership in Bowls USA or World Bowls. Organized by our Central Division and played on our greens in Lake Park. Advance registration and entry fee is required to participate. MLPLBA members are members of Bowls USA and MLPLBA hosts the Central Division Open.
- Central Division Playdowns. Must hold membership in the Central Division and Bowls USA. Organized by the Central Division and played on our greens in Lake Park. Advance registration and entry fee is required to participate. MLPLBA members are members of the Central Division and Bowls USA. MLPLBA hosts the Central Division Playdowns.
- National Open. Must hold membership in Bowls USA or World Bowls. Organized by Bowls USA and played on the greens of host clubs throughout the country. Advance registration and entry fee is required to participate. MLPLBA members are members of Bowls USA.
- National Championships. Must hold membership in your particular Division of Bowls USA and Bowls USA. Organized by Bowls USA and played on the greens of host clubs throughout the country. Qualify by winning Division Playdowns. MLPLBA members are members of the Central Division and Bowls USA. MLPLBA last hosted the National Championships in 2006 and is once again hosting the championships September 9-13, 2024 at Lake Park!
