Mathwig / Witt Win 2011 Potlicker Tournament

Twenty-six club bowlers participated in the club’s triples tournament Saturday June 11th.  Triples teams were determined from those who signed up and assigned by tournament directors Steve and Alice Sedgwick.  Teams of men and women bowled together during morning and afternoon games followed by a cocktail party.   Congratulations to the top four winning teams…

MLPLBA hosted the William D. Reed Club Triples Tournament on Saturday, June 21. Twelve players participated. Mindful of the win and plus points they would need to achieve in their final game, the team of Max Cavender, Anna Witt, and Matt de St. Aubin just managed to pull ahead of Carl Landgren, Jim Grzybowski, and Jacob Blundon…

After taking a hiatus for several years and then being merged with the Otto Hess Invitational in 2013, the Sydney Steller Invitational returned as a separate women’s only tournament on September 6, 2014. While only two teams played, it was a fine day of pairs competition. The winners were Rebecca Nguyen and Glorianne Mather.

Six MLPLBA members represented the Central Division at the Bowls USA National Championships in Long Beach, CA October 20-25, 2015.
