The second No Bocce Bowl Tournament was held on July 20, 2014. Seven bowlers participated. 1st place was awarded to Roland Faas and 2nd place went to Ted Bailey. Participants dressed in the colors of the Italian Flag: red, white, and green. Charlene Harmon organized the tournament.
Six MLPLBA members represented the Central Division at the Bowls USA National Championships in Long Beach, CA October 20-25, 2015. MLPLBA hosted the Central Division Open Singles tournament on August 8-9, 2015. Eleven bowlers participated. Max Cavender edged out three time national champion Bob Schneider to capture the 2015 Central Division Singles title. This past weekend Milwaukee bowlers Anna Witt and Rebecca Nguyen emerged as winners of Women’s Pairs Playdowns and will represent the Central Division in the US National Championships in Arcadia California October 16-20. This annual event is competition amongst bowlers who represent Bowls USA’s seven divisions. Congratulations and best of luck to Anna and Rebecca.
