The 2013 Potlicker is in the record books. Congratulations to the pairs team of Bob Schneider and Rob Behncke for winning the annual two day tournament! Six teams competed in this year’s tournament that was held June 8-9. Amazingly, the tournament ended in a three way tie for second place for teams Anna Witt / Paul Legwinski, Max Cavender / Joe Zinna, and Jim Cavender / Carl Landgren. Also competing were teams Steve Nelson / Rebecca Nguyen and Leif Andresen / Jim Grzybowski / Dat Nguyen. Special thanks to tournament director Leif Andresen for coordinating this annual special event.After enduring two hours of rain, twenty-six bowlers were rewarded with two days of absolutely beautiful weather and great bowling in the Blind Pairs tournament held over the Memorial Day weekend. MLPLBA hosted the Butler Blind Pairs tournament on May 24,2014. Twenty bowlers participated on this beautiful Saturday at Lake Park. This past weekend Milwaukee bowler Pat Wimmer emerged as the winner of Women’s Singles Playdowns and will represent the Central Division in the US National Championships in Arcadia California October 16-20. This annual event is competition amongst bowlers who represent Bowls USA’s seven divisions. Congratulations and best of luck to Pat.
