The second No Bocce Bowl Tournament was held on July 20, 2014. Seven bowlers participated. 1st place was awarded to Roland Faas and 2nd place went to Ted Bailey. Participants dressed in the colors of the Italian Flag: red, white, and green. Charlene Harmon organized the tournament.
The first tournament of the season is in the books. A total of 28 members participated in the Blind Pairs tournament this past weekend, the best turnout in years. The Chili Bowl Touranament was held on October 12, 2013. Twelve bowlers participated. They were divided into two teams and competed against each other in triples, pairs, and singles events. This past weekend Milwaukee bowler Pat Wimmer emerged as the winner of Women’s Singles Playdowns and will represent the Central Division in the US National Championships in Arcadia California October 16-20. This annual event is competition amongst bowlers who represent Bowls USA’s seven divisions. Congratulations and best of luck to Pat.
Veteran and novice bowlers came together to form six pairs teams and competed against each other in a 6-end round robin tournament on September 26, 2015. The tournament director was Carl Landgren.
