This past weekend Anna Witt and Glorianne Mather emerged as winners of women’s pairs playdowns and will represent the Central Division in the US National Championships in San Diego, CA October 24-28.  This annual event is competition amongst bowlers who represents the USLBA’s seven divisions. After taking a hiatus for several years and then being merged with the Otto Hess Invitational in 2013, the Sydney Steller Invitational returned as a separate women’s only tournament on September 6, 2014. While only two teams played, it was a fine day of pairs competition. The winners were Rebecca Nguyen and Glorianne Mather.
