Winter and Bowls in Milwaukee, WI
Winter in Milwaukee, WI invariably arrives with its snow and sub-freezing temperatures. Our greens typically take a rest and some of our bowlers pursue other activities, like curling. The Milwaukee Lake Park Lawn Bowling Association had its annual Spring Luncheon on Saturday, May 21 followed by a pick up game on the green in Lake Park to mark Opening Day of the 2016.
Good-Bye, Ted
Associate member, Ted Bailey, sold his condo in Kenosha and headed back to California where he will live year-round. Ted served as the Friday Frolics league director for four years, played in tournaments, and has been a friendly face for Milwaukee bowlers that play in California tournaments. We will miss him.
