Please join us on Sunday June 7 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm for our Bowls-Croquet Mixer event! Learn how to play croquet with the croquet club and help explain lawn bowls to members of croquet. An hour of croquet and an hour of lawn bowls. Meet each club’s members, learn a new sport and socialize together!
We had 16 entrants. The winning team was Jim Grzybowski (skip) and Jerry Mathwig (lead), defeating Crandall Hays (skip) and Min Waite (lead). After the winning team, each player was ranked according to wins and plus points. Crandall finished third, Min fourth, Brian Schieble fifth, and Carl Landgren sixth.
Congratulations to Milwaukee Lake Park Lawn Bowls Association member Bob Schneider on being selected to represent the U. S. in international lawn bowls competition in 2012 as part of Team USA.
