Milwaukee Bowlers Compete in Southwest Open

Winter in Milwaukee, WI invariably arrives with its snow and sub-freezing temperatures. Our greens typically take a rest and some of our bowlers pursue other activities, like curling. Mixed Pairs and Triples Open Bowling, the Tuesday afternoon league for all club members, begins May 31.  Men and women will bowl together on pairs or triples teams.  Teams will  be determined by the number of people and skill level of those present to bowl each Tuesday.  Games start at 1 PM.  

Congratulations to Milwaukee Lake Park Lawn Bowls Association member Anna Witt on being selected to represent the U. Thursday afternoon Triples League for all club members begins June 2.  A season long commitment is required.   Men and Women will bowl together.  A schedule has been developed for those who signed up.  Games start at 1:15 PM  

Our long winter hibernation is over and everyone is looking forward to bowling once the snow melts, greens dry out and temperatures warm.  All club members are invited to the annual Spring Luncheon on Saturday May 4th at the Hilton Milwaukee River to catch up and look forward to another great season on the greens….
