The Milwaukee Lake Park Lawn Bowling Association hosted the 2014 Central Division Open Pairs tournament July 11-12. Congratulations to the tournament winners: 1st place – Carl Landgren/Mark Mathwig, 2nd place – Max Cavender/Jim Cavender, 3rd place – Steve Nelson/Rob Behncke. Thanks to Leif Andresen for a successfully run event.
The second No Bocce Bowl Tournament was held on July 20, 2014. Seven bowlers participated. 1st place was awarded to Roland Faas and 2nd place went to Ted Bailey. Participants dressed in the colors of the Italian Flag: red, white, and green. Charlene Harmon organized the tournament.

Twenty-four bowlers from the Central Division endured thunder storms, heat and humidity Sunday August 7th in Triples competition on very challenging greens (wet, dry, then really wet!). After taking a hiatus for several years and then being merged with the Otto Hess Invitational in 2013, the Sydney Steller Invitational returned as a separate women’s only tournament on September 6, 2014. While only two teams played, it was a fine day of pairs competition. The winners were Rebecca Nguyen and Glorianne Mather.
