Follow the 2024 Mixed Pair Results

The Milwaukee Lake Park Lawn Bowling Association hosted the 2013 Central Division Open Pairs Tournament July 13-14.  Congratulations to Men’s Pairs tournament winners: 1st place Steve Nelson / Carl Landgren (pictured), 2nd place Bob Schneider/Paul Legwinski, 3rd place Jimmie Wolterman/Jeff Wolterman.  Thanks to tournament coordinator Leif Andresen for a successfully run event.

The men had a pairs competition amongst themselves at the Otto Hess Invitational this year on September 6, 2014. Four teams participated. 1st place was won by Rob Behncke and Jim Cavender. 2nd place went to Bob Schneider and Brian Schieble. Thank you to tournament director, Rob Behncke.

The Central Division Open Singles tournment was played in unseasonably cool temps in Milwaukee, WI on Saturday, July 27.  On the women’s side, congratulations to Anna Witt who came through through the round-robin format with 3 wins to capture the tournament. 1. This past weekend Milwaukee bowler Pat Wimmer emerged as the winner of Women’s Singles Playdowns and will represent the Central Division in the US National Championships in Arcadia California October 16-20.  This annual event is competition amongst bowlers who represent Bowls USA’s seven divisions. Congratulations and best of luck to Pat.

There was limited participation this year, but the team of Rob Behncke and Bob Schneider prevailed over Leif Andresen and Jim Grzybowski to win the “Pot.”

Anna Witt participated in the Southwest Division Women’s Open tournament this past Saturday 5/14 and Sunday 5/15.   Her triples team –  Janice Bell (skip), Anna Witt (vice), and Nancy Nishikawa (lead),  was part of a field of 54 competitors.   Anna’s teammates Janice and Nancy are members of the Jefferson Park Lawn Bowls Club…
