The 2012 Potlicker Cup has been scheduled for June 9th and 10th. The Potlicker is a competitive Pairs tournament requiring an entry fee of $60 per team which includes lunch. Winners of each event qualify and agree to play in the Bowls USA National Championships, which will be September 7-13 in Milwaukee, WI. The Mixed Pairs tournament allows members a taste of competitive bowling by offering the opportunity to pair with fellow club members with whom they may not have previously bowled with. This past weekend Milwaukee bowlers Anna Witt and Rebecca Nguyen emerged as winners of Women’s Pairs Playdowns and will represent the Central Division in the US National Championships in Arcadia California October 16-20. This annual event is competition amongst bowlers who represent Bowls USA’s seven divisions. Congratulations and best of luck to Anna and Rebecca.
