This past weekend Anna Witt and Glorianne Mather emerged as winners of women’s pairs playdowns and will represent the Central Division in the US National Championships in San Diego, CA October 24-28. This annual event is competition amongst bowlers who represents the USLBA’s seven divisions. Congratulations and best of luck to Anna and Glorianne. Runners-up in the women’s pairs playdown competition were Pat Wimmer and Charlene Harmon.Our Mixed Pairs tournament is now underway. We have 8 teams participating from June to August. Twenty-four bowlers from the Central Division endured thunder storms, heat and humidity Sunday August 7th in Triples competition on very challenging greens (wet, dry, then really wet!).
