This past weekend Milwaukee bowler Steve Nelson emerged as the winner of Men’s Singles Playdowns and will represent the Central Division in the US National Championships in Arcadia California October 16-20.  This annual event is competition amongst bowlers who represent Bowls USA’s seven divisions. On Sunday afternoon, July 21, 16 club members comprising 8 teams competed in the club’s first “No-Bocce” Bowl Tournament.  Playing three close and competitive games of 8 ends each, the teams bowled for 1st and 2nd place.
