The Central Division Open Fours tournament was held over the weekend at the Milwaukee Lake Park Bowling Association. Congratulations to the winning Milwaukee foursome (pictured left-to right) Leif Andresen, Jim Gryzbowski, Bob Schneider, Rob Behncke. Twelve members participated. First place went to the team of Jack Britton, Norma Harrington, and Viki Olsen. Second place went to the team of Dave Olsen, Renee Harmon, and Margie Knitter. This past weekend Milwaukee bowler Steve Nelson emerged as the winner of Men’s Singles Playdowns and will represent the Central Division in the US National Championships in Arcadia California October 16-20. This annual event is competition amongst bowlers who represent Bowls USA’s seven divisions. Congratulations and best of luck to Steve.
