The second No Bocce Bowl Tournament was held on July 20, 2014. Seven bowlers participated. 1st place was awarded to Roland Faas and 2nd place went to Ted Bailey. Participants dressed in the colors of the Italian Flag: red, white, and green. Charlene Harmon organized the tournament.
The 2013 Potlicker is in the record books. Congratulations to the pairs team of Bob Schneider and Rob Behncke for winning the annual two day tournament! We had 16 entrants. The winning team was Jim Grzybowski (skip) and Jerry Mathwig (lead), defeating Crandall Hays (skip) and Min Waite (lead). After the winning team, each player was ranked according to wins and plus points. Crandall finished third, Min fourth, Brian Schieble fifth, and Carl Landgren sixth.
Twenty-eight bowlers played in cool temps, fog and rain over two days in the Blind Pairs tournament held over the Memorial Day weekend. We held the 4th Annual Veteran Novice Tournament on September 27, 2014. Veterans (more than 2 years of lawn bowls experience) were paired with novices (2 years or less of lawn bowls experience).
