The second No Bocce Bowl Tournament was held on July 20, 2014. Seven bowlers participated. 1st place was awarded to Roland Faas and 2nd place went to Ted Bailey. Participants dressed in the colors of the Italian Flag: red, white, and green. Charlene Harmon organized the tournament.
MLPLBA Hosted the Potlicker Pairs Touranment on June 6-7, 2015. Twelve people participated. Bob Schneider and Rob Behncke came out on top for an unprecedented third straight victory. Carl Landgren/Steve Nelson finished second, while Max Cavender/Jim Cavender took third place by plus points over Leif Andresen/Jim Gryzbowski. This past weekend Milwaukee bowlers Bob Schneider and Rob Behncke emerged as winners of Men’s Pairs Playdowns and will represent the Central Division in the US National Championships in Arcadia California October 16-20. This annual event is competition amongst bowlers who represent Bowls USA’s seven divisions. Congratulations and best of luck to Bob and Rob.
After taking a hiatus for several years and then being merged with the Otto Hess Invitational in 2013, the Sydney Steller Invitational returned as a separate women’s only tournament on September 6, 2014. While only two teams played, it was a fine day of pairs competition. The winners were Rebecca Nguyen and Glorianne Mather.
