Memorial Day Weekend Blind Pairs Tournament
We had 16 entrants. The winning team was Jim Grzybowski (skip) and Jerry Mathwig (lead), defeating Crandall Hays (skip) and Min Waite (lead). After the winning team, each player was ranked according to wins and plus points. Crandall finished third, Min fourth, Brian Schieble fifth, and Carl Landgren sixth.
Blind Pairs May 28-29
The first Club Event of the season at Lake Park Lawn Bowling Club will be held on Memorial Day weekend. Novice and experienced bowlers are encouraged to participate. Carl Landgren and Steve Nelson emerged as winners of men’s pairs playdowns and will represent the Central Division in the US National Championships to be held in Seattle August 23-28.
