Steve Nelson Wins 2012 Central Division Open Singles
The Milwaukee Lake Park Lawn Bowls Club hosted the 2012 Central Division Open Singles Tournament July 28-29. Congratulations to tournament winners (pictured right to left) 1st place Steve Nelson, 2nd place Max Cavender, 3rd place Rob Behncke, 4th place Jim Grzybowski. Thanks to tournament coordinator Leif Andresen for a successfully run event.
Three-bowl pairs game debuts in Milwaukee
The Stuart Club Pairs Tournament on Saturday, August 2 featured games of 3-bowl pairs, a first at the Milwaukee Lake Park greens. Steven Nelson organized the tournament. 13 players participated. Coming in first place were Carl Landgren and Rob Behncke. Second place went to Tom Vanderbilt and Pat Mueller/Max Cavender.
Club Triples Tournament 2012
Milwaukee bowlers competed in the club’s 2012 triples tournament Saturday June 23rd. Triples teams of men and women who bowled together during morning and afternoon games also enjoyed a barbecue lunch on the clubhouse terrace and cocktails afterwards.
