The first tournament of the season is in the books. A total of 28 members participated in the Blind Pairs tournament this past weekend, the best turnout in years. Bowlers were designated as Skips or Leads based on skill level and played four matches with different partners each round. Points were awarded for each win….
There are two events, Pairs and Singles. Men and women compete separately. Winners of each event qualify and agree to play in the Bowls USA National Championships, which will be September 7-13 in Milwaukee, WI. For the first time in several years, this season we are planning to utilize the West green for league play on alternate weeks.
