US Lawn Bowls Championships Day 2 – Witt/Mather 4-0

15 bowlers particpated in the first Veteran/Novice tournament held at Milwaukee Lake Park LBA on Sunday, September 25, 2011. Creative lawn bowling attire was encouraged and some teams got into the spirit by wearing tie-dyed t-shirts, Hawaiian shirts, and Packers jerseys. This past weekend Bob Schneider emerged as the winner of men’s singles playdowns and will represent the Central Division in the US National Championships in San Diego, CA October 24-28.  This annual event is competition amongst bowlers who represents the USLBA’s seven divisions.  Runner-up in the men’s singles playdown competition was Steve Nelson.   Congratulations…

MLPLBA hosted this Central Division tournament on July 11-12, 2015. Five teams participated. The wife and husband team of Anna Witt and Matt de St. Aubin won the Central Pairs in a close finish.
