The Chili Bowl Touranament was held on October 12, 2013. Twelve bowlers participated. They were divided into two teams and competed against each other in triples, pairs, and singles events. The Veteran/Novice Pairs tournament was played on September 14th.  There was a great turnout with 16 participants divided into 8 teams.  The teams were split into two pools of 4 playing a round robin.  The winners of each pool advanced to a playoff final.  Anna Witt and Sue Dropp (pictured left) triumphed over Crandall Hays…

This past weekend Milwaukee bowler Steve Nelson emerged as the winner of Men’s Singles Playdowns and will represent the Central Division in the US National Championships in Arcadia California October 16-20.  This annual event is competition amongst bowlers who represent Bowls USA’s seven divisions. 16 Milwaukee bowlers competed in the club’s 2013 Pairs Tournament Saturday August 3rd.  Pairs teams of men and women bowled together.  Both winning teams won 3 games and the winner was determined by plus points.  Overall a very enjoyable day of lawn bowls.
