On Saturday July 16th, The MLPLBA held its annual pairs tournament – Pineapple Club Pairs. This years winners were: 1st place – Jim Grzybowski and Pat Loehr 2nd place – David Olsen and Marge Knitter 3rd place – Pat Mueller and Alice Sedgwick Spider – John Adamski
The Central division play down tournaments have concluded. MLPLBA continued their partnership with Milwaukee Recreation in 2011. During this year’s “Bowling on the Green” program, community members attended sessions on Monday evenings in June. Twenty-six club bowlers participated in the club’s triples tournament Saturday June 11th. Triples teams were determined from those who signed up and assigned by tournament directors Steve and Alice Sedgwick. Monday Night Singles League, open to all club members, begins June 6. Men and Women will bowl together. This is the most competitive of the leagues and is a great opportunity to improve your game. Sign-up is required. Players are handicapped so that new players can compete with experienced players. Matches begin at 6:30 PM.
