There was limited participation this year, but the team of Rob Behncke and Bob Schneider prevailed over Leif Andresen and Jim Grzybowski to win the “Pot.”

Six MLPLBA members represented the Central Division at the Bowls USA National Championships in Long Beach, CA October 20-25, 2015. Women’s Singles – Pat Wimmer Women’s Pairs – Anna Witt/Rebecca Nguyen (3rd place) Men’s Singles – Steve Nelson (2nd place) Men’s Pairs – Bob Schneider/Rob Behncke (1st place)
There are two events, Pairs and Singles. Men and women compete separately. Winners of each event qualify and agree to play in the Bowls USA National Championships, which will be September 7-13 in Milwaukee, WI. This past weekend Milwaukee bowler Steve Nelson emerged as the winner of Men’s Singles Playdowns and will represent the Central Division in the US National Championships in Arcadia California October 16-20. This annual event is competition amongst bowlers who represent Bowls USA’s seven divisions. Congratulations and best of luck to Steve.
Six bowlers from Milwaukee represented the Central Division at the 2014 National Championships, in Sun City Center, FL, November 4-8. Anna Witt (skip) and Glorianne Mather (lead) finished with a 3-4 record in the Womens Pairs competition.
