MLPLBA hosted the 2014 Central Division Playdowns tournament on August 9/10 (Pairs) and 16/17 (Singles). Men’s Pairs winners were Bob Schneider and Rob Behncke. The Stuart Club Pairs Tournament on Saturday, August 2 featured games of 3-bowl pairs, a first at the Milwaukee Lake Park greens. Steven Nelson organized the tournament. 13 players participated. Coming in first place were Carl Landgren and Rob Behncke. Second place went to Tom Vanderbilt and Pat Mueller/Max Cavender.
The second No Bocce Bowl Tournament was held on July 20, 2014. Seven bowlers participated. 1st place was awarded to Roland Faas and 2nd place went to Ted Bailey. Participants dressed in the colors of the Italian Flag: red, white, and green. Charlene Harmon organized the tournament.

MLPLBA purchased a new gas grill, much to the delight of the participants of the new Thursday Night Corporate League. At 5:30 pm, these enthusiastic players gather for a Happy Hour and then bowl at 7:00 pm.
