Central Division Open Pairs Results
The Milwaukee Lake Park Lawn Bowling Association hosted the 2014 Central Division Open Pairs tournament July 11-12. Congratulations to the tournament winners: 1st place – Carl Landgren/Mark Mathwig, 2nd place – Max Cavender/Jim Cavender, 3rd place – Steve Nelson/Rob Behncke. MLPLBA hosted the Central Division Open Singles tournament on August 8-9, 2015. Eleven bowlers participated. Max Cavender edged out three time national champion Bob Schneider to capture the 2015 Central Division Singles title. 2013 Playdowns – Men’s Singles
This past weekend Milwaukee bowler Steve Nelson emerged as the winner of Men’s Singles Playdowns and will represent the Central Division in the US National Championships in Arcadia California October 16-20. This annual event is competition amongst bowlers who represent Bowls USA’s seven divisions. Congratulations and best of luck to Steve.
